Clean Cities Sweep: Join Us April 9th

Olde North Charleston Council is participating in the 2011 Clean Cities Sweep and we need your help!

The coordinated clean up of the west side of the Olde North Charleston neighborhood will be held Saturday, April 9th from 9am-1pm with a cook-out celebration from 2pm-4pm at the picnic shelter at Riverfront Park later that day.

If you are interested in helping us pick up litter from the streets please meet us at 9am at the Park Circle playground (part of the Felix C. Davis complex).  We will spread out from there picking up trash and litter on South Durant and South Rhett.  Gloves, trash bags, and bottled water have been donated by Keep North Charleston Beautiful.

Please bring your family and neighbors to the cookout celebration afterwards from 2pm-4pm at the picnic shelter at Riverfront Park on the Navy Yard.  All are welcome to join us for the clean up and the neighborhood picnic or just one of the two (participation in the clean up is not necessary to attend the picnic).

We look forward to working together to make Olde North Charleston a great place to live, work and play.

Please contact Christine Beddia at 843-557-3871 or with questions or to sign-up.

Clean Cities Sweep is an initiative of Keep North Charleston Beautiful and Keep Charleston Beautiful.
